A few thoughts I think most will enjoy. by
Chris W
Recent posts have reminded me of a few quotes that others might enjoy :)
"It's not the things you don't know that you a fool.
It's the things you know that ain't so"
"It is better to say nothing and be thought a fool than to open your
mouth and remove all doubt."
I thought of listing a few...

Safety of aircraft in Mexico.. by
Dan
I am contemplating a trip to Mexico. How safe is an aircraft parked at
a Mexican airport (say Guymas)?
Can I leave my 396, headsets, etc. inside the plane? I am wondering if
they are more at risk sitting in the plane, or in the hotel room....

FAA F&^*%$ Up by
BiffClinton
This debacle represents more documentary proof that Blakey
and her cronies have utterly destroyed another component of
the world’s largest, safest air traffic control system. The
promised savings will never materialize. The bill for
privatizing this thing just keeps getting bigger and bigger...

Latitude Longitude entry by

This is off topic but something that I think pilots can appreciate.
I am working on a web site that will require the entry of latitude
longitude coordinates. As you probably know there area lot of
different ways to format latitude and longitude. I have done my best to
make my code work no...

Privatizing Flight Service Stations - AOPA by
One's Too Many
AOPA has an article online right now regarding an FAA study to
possibly privatize the operation of the FSS system.
AOPA says, as usual, that they will fight the privatization of the FSS
system as vigorously as possible. I fear that some...

Lightspeed with Foggles question by
Rod Madsen
I just bought the Hood Lamb and had to send them back. They simply would
not clamp to my David Clark H10-13.4 which have a narrower than usual band.
To their credit, they acknowledge this problem with DC's and suggest
friction tape to increase the girth of the band. Didn't work...to
rinky-dink...

Here is a photo I took of Lt. Kevin Davis at Oshkosh last year after

FAA has generated a revised policy to permit the use of SINGLE
anti-depressant drug prescriptions for pilots. Suicidal ideation,
multi-drugs, etc., are disqualifying.
This ought to be of particular interest to some users of this group??
