Jodel by
Sten-Anders Fellman
I have to buy a hangar at the airport nearby and in that hangar is already a
plane that is very nice but not for me since I want an amphibian.
It is a Jodel Ambassaduer 1050 from 1961. Read more about the Jodel at
www.jodel.com . It is as new. The frame has 1600 hours but the fabric
covering has...

My Plane Featured in "Aeroplane" by
Orval Fairbairn
Just before Sun N Fun, I met up with Geoffrey P. Jones, a UK aircraft
photographer/writer, for some air-to-air shots of my 1946 Johnson Rocket
185. I put him in the back seat of a friend's Yak 52 for the shots,
which turned out pretty well.
His work is on Page 60 of the British magazine...

Another one of those things I get from docents out at PASM. Don't
know if true, but certainly sounds like it. If not, a good yarn
anyway.

Rotax Ignitions by

I have an older 447 and was wondering how can you tell which ignition I've
got. Would like to buy a video manual for overhaul and need to know if it
is a point ignition or ducati. Haven't taken it apart yet, so I can't tell
if it has points. Is there another way to tell?

Hey All,

everyone derided RW helicopters.
I don't know all the personalities here yet so I won't mention names.
As a person seeking serious input, can someone guide me to info from
informaed sources, not just opinions?

Tool Question??? by
Paul
I'm looking for an adapter with a 3/8--24 thread on one end and a 1/4--28
thread on the other. This would allow me to use a standard Jacobs chuck on
my right angle drill. Surely some one must sell such a device. Since I
retired, I no longer have easy access to a lathe so I must now go tool
hunting....

LEDs with Strobe lights by

Does anyone has deeper knowledge of the following thing?
I have been thinking to modify Strobe/Nav.Light system. Halogen bulbs
will be replaced with ultra bright leds.
Benefits; low current draw, cheaper than incandenscent bulbs, long
life time.
Low points; narrow beam,...

Ignition Exciter Wiring by
Juan E Jimenez
Anybody have the pinouts for a Bendix Ignition Exciter, p/n 10-378340-1?
Three pins, A, B, C. I think it's A= Ground, B=DC 7-30v, C=not connected.
Also, does anyone know who can make me a custom harness for this unit?
