slowest top speed? by Dan Bond
I'm doing research on the speed distribution of homebuilts. It's easy to find published data on the fast airplanes, but I'm having a hard time finding anything on the slowest. Anyone have a suggestion?

SERFI This Weekend by Dan Horton
RAH Gang, Just a reminder; the Southeastern Regional Fly-In is this weekend (Oct 3-4-5), Middleton Field, Evergreen, Alabama. Last time we had a weather forcast this good the turnout was huge. Plenty of camping on site (including aircraft camping), all close to the flight line area. Dan Horton

SERFI Planning by Dan Horton
Gang, SouthEastern Regional Fly-In volunteers will meet in the near future to organize and plan for the 2006 event. The dates are October 6th, 7th, and 8th. SERFI is fly-in, not an airshow. In other words, we try to make it an event focused on the enjoyment of aircraft owners, not the...

Another Math Question by Dan Nafe
Does anyone have a formula or (table of values) for atmospheric pressure at various altitudes? 1,000 foot intervals up to FL330 on a standard day is all I need. Thanks in advance, Dan http://www.scuba-training.net

funny by Dan RatherNot
There's a show on NPR called Cartalk. 2 car mechanics supposedly giving advice to callers but really it's just an excuse for them to goof around. Hysterical. There's a segment about a guy wanting to put a Subaru engine in an experiment plane. Scroll down to Mazda Miata with...

Wright Flyer Ignition by Dan Thomas
There's a debate going on over in rec.crafts.metalworking about what type of igniton was used on the original Flyer, and on the replica, if it's different from the original. Does it use a mag and sparkplugs, or the old make-break contacts inside the combustion chamber to produce the spark? Dan
