VX-4 phantom loads by
Rob van Riel
VX-4 has created some of the most spectacular paintjobs seen on F-4
Phantoms, and as such are prime subjects for scale models. I could of
course build such planes with nothing, or only fuel tanks under the wings,
I prefer to have a little more variation in loadouts. Given that VX-4 was
a test...

Vought Inverted Gull Wing Question by
Bob
Hello,
Figure that you folks would know.
I seem to remember (Sr. Citizen now) that there was a fighter plane
around WW II time that had an inverted gull wing like the Vought
Corsair, but going "the other way."
First was an upward angle prior to the straight wing section.

VISUAL AIRCRAFT RECOGNITION by
Mike[_1_]
The F-14, F-15 MiG-29 and Su-27 series all look a LOT alike in motion
to most people. MiG-21 and the F-4 look virtually identical in
flight.

Vintage Navy Aircraft Photos by
Harriet and John
We need to locate photos of three vintage Navy aircraft - the PB-1W with the
topside radome, the P2B-1S (not just a B-29 and not the launch version), and
a radome configured PO-1W ( not an EC-121). We've shaken the web to
exhaustion and Ray Wagner hasn't helped so we're starting into print...

Vietnam. Any US planes lost in China ? by
Mike
Were there ever any United States combat planes lost in China during
the Vietnam war ? Some of our planes must have flown close enough to
China that they may have possibly had to crash there.

Two things immediately capture your eye when looking at the cover of
the latest book on Vietnam: the title and the author's name.
