Removing Rusted Sparkplugs by
Michael Horowitz
Folks - I'd like to remove my plugs and see how they look. Externally,
they look like they may be rusted in place - don't know for sure,
havn't tried to undo one. Any suggestions on how to approach the
possibility they may be rusted in place? Lots of penetrating oil? -
Mike

complete machine shop I can use and have...

Polytone polishing by
Steve Beaver
There are those who say a dope-like sheen can be obtained with Polytone if
it is buffed and polished. Others say this is not the case. No amount of
rubbing will make it shine.
I would love to hear from anyone who has obtained a nice sheen from Polytone
and learn what techniques were used.
I am...

Generating the Juice by
terra
I want to describe a clever generator here, and hear what you people think of
this idea.
To begin, you should understand that a large coil placed high in the Earth's
magnetic field is capable of creating very high voltage. As the lines of
magnetic flux travel out from one pole toward the other,...

taper pins by
Ernest Christley
What has happened to taper pins? I need two AN386-3-9A pins to tie a
universal joint to a one inch torque tube. AS&S says that I've got to
buy 5 at 17.50(USD) each.
Can anyone recommend a source that actually wants to sell them at a
reasonable price?

Rudder cable - was The Little Wheel in Back by

Asking a question and taking this thread off on a tangent:
Been thinking about using some Spectra for rudder cables. Other than the
obvious poor heat tolerance, which shouldn't be a factor in my case for rudder
cables, what other problems, ecpected or unexpected, might I encounter if I

Folks - First time use of a handheld around my Tcraft. Flipped the

NCI by

In today's Houston Chronicle there is an article about a company (NCI
Building Systems) that is selling metal buildings that you can
assemble yourself. They say that the labor saving will be between
3,500-4000 dollars. Check them out via Google.
They have stock buildings or you can set down with a...
