Keith K.
Is anyone willing to help me pay for my GED to enlist and have a future
for me and my son? It is $65 and I'm stuck in a catch 22 situation where
I want nothing more to work but my living situation won't let me since I
am stuck in Superior, AZ and there are no jobs within 20+ miles and I

What is "Combat Power?" by
Paul Michael Brown
During the recent PBS documentary entitled "Carrier," one of the
shooters on the Nimitz described the sequence after a jet on the cat
takes tension, demonstrating the hand signals as well. When giving the
familiar run up command with two fingers at the end of an elbow bent 90
degrees he said...

I have hesitated asking this question but curiosity has gotten the better of
me. I have been away from r.a.m.n. for a while.
What happened to P. C. Chisholm? I no longer see his posts.
Thanks,
Scott Seders

Fasinating story by
Leanne
This was sent to by an old friend this evening.
Leanne
Subject: good story/interview
Joe Kittinger is not a household aviation name like Neil
Armstrong or
Chuck Yeager. But what he did for the U.S. space program is
comparable.

Apparently a decision has been made to reassemble the aircraft to its
just recovered state and do preservation work on items needing
stabilization and to leave the current paint on the aircraft for the
present (good decision). Will be interesting to see it all together as
when originally photo'd...

Loss rates for A-7s in the fleet by
Gordon
I had an interesting conversation with a pair of SLUF pilots today - an
AF type and a Navy guy. I chimed in with my 2 cents, that my
connection with the stubby little jets was that I used to fish their
pilots out of the sea when they went from "single engine" to "no
engine". Both pouted a bit at...
