Richard Brooks
Was it down to individual Bomb Wings to decide if the insignia was displayed
on the starboard side nose or not ?
I've got the port side view of a 93rd Bomb Wing B-52 which shows the SAC
insignia against the diagonal star bar and above the aircraft for reference
is the 93rd Bomb Wing insignia.

Death Over Paris by
Emilio
I understand that bridge is hard to repair and there for highly defended.
But couldn't you just bomb the straight section of the rail line at low
altitude for accuracy and destroy 100 mile of rail line be just as
effective? One can pick and choose rail sections that are not defended. In
the age...

Did we control the air over N. Viet Nam? by
Cub Driver
Targets on the ATO were bombed. Of course we probably could
have done better if Bush were there, and Kerry had stayed longer.
Thank you for that, Billy!
I wonder if either man would be running for president today, if he had
served a normal tour on the ground, or in the air or on the water,...

Why didn't Galland customize his aircraft for his needs? by
Prowlus
Looking at JV-44's craft the main commanders of this flight had
aircraft with either six 30mm guns (Bär) or massive cannon (Herget)
but why didn't Galland do anything to his ME-262 like the others? I'm
suprised he didn't get himself a upgunned 262 like Bär did or was he
the kind of pilot who didn't...

in the air for a few hours with the sun on their helmet, they must be
thursty after a while. I know they have airco but how do they drink or eat
in their cockpit? Please tell me.
Greetings

What sort of problems faced a defender in attempting to intercept and
shoot down night bombers in 1944?
I am interested both over Germany and Britain.
