Flightsim navigation...Kudos to Charles Wood by
Dr. Anthony J. Lomenzo
Flightsim Navigation! To me, one name and a specific website comes to mind: Charles
Wood.
I'll say publicly that for 'both' the real deal and the flight sims per se, this is a
flightsim navigation tutorial that I would rate as absolutely superior.
Superior!
Not only are NDB, ADF, RMI, VORS,...

Simulator + Motion? by
[email protected]
Has anyone written some sort of program/hack to get position data out of MS
flight simulator that could be used to control a cockpit motion device? It
seems like it wouldn't be too hard to build a two axis positioner if you could
get the pitch and roll data out of the sim program.

Microsoft Flight Simulator and Garmin aviation handheld GPS by
John Bell
I have always thought that it would be a nice training tool to be able to
get a handheld GPS to work with Microsoft Flight Simulator. I had success
with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, Garmin 196, and Garmin GPS III Pilot.
I would imagine that a Garmin 295 would also work.

FSX: G1000 panel, can't change NAV frequency by
[email protected]
I just installed FSX and tried out the 172 with G1000 panel. I have
never used a G1000 panel, but I'm curious.
Strangely, if I click on the "NAV" button on the upper left corner of
the panel, I can only change the digits to the right of the decimal
point,
not the integer portion of the...

Dudley Henriques
I need someone flying the Captain Sim Mig 21 in FS9 who is up enough in
this airplane to be flying it on instrument approaches to help me
troubleshoot a possible issue in the avionics/Hud interface on the ILS.
Anyone willing to work with me on this? Appreciate your help immensely.
Thank you,
Dudley

No progressive taxi in FSX by
Chris Hall
I have installed FSX on a new Vista computer. After the IFR clearance is
received, I press the appropriate button for Progressive Taxi (usually 3),
but I don't get the pink track I was used to in FS9. I don't get anything
despite switching the progressive taxi on and off a number of times.
Any...
