Gatwick flight info by FredG
Hi. Are there still flights from Gatwick to New Zealand? I've searched the BAA site but can find no info. Air NZ page indicates they fly from Heathrow now. When did this change? Are there any airlines out of Gatwick that fly to Australia? Thanks.

Who maintains ground beacons? by Cory Scott
Does anyone know who is responsible for maintaining those red flashing beacons on towers and hilltops? Government agency? County? State? Federal? This may sound weird, but I want that job. The whole outdoor aspect of it interests me. The rural mountain roads, climbing high towers, the views! ...

Can anyone provide some suggestions on some reasonable interior shops in the Kentucky or adjacent state areas? I know of Air Mod by Sporty's, but they are very expensive. I'm looking for good work at a fair price. Thanks

This goes out to any aircraft owners (esp Canadian) who are resident in the US. Not green carded permanent residents (you seem to be considered equivalent to Americans for these issues), but those who are living/working in the US under a visa or similar situations. How did you deal with the...

Any real posts here? by TimeTraveller
I see that this forum has been usurped by that MI5 loon as well, too bad. Seems odd that he seems to be able to infest every google group with impunity. Anyway...is there any posting going on here at all, or has everyone moved to private message boards?

The FAA has just issued an emergency AD that appears to ground _all_ Beech T-34 aircraft, all models, until further notice, after confirming that the Texas Air Aces T-34 that went down a few days ago suffered a wing separation. Interesting 2-plane takeoff at BWI 4-28-06 (formation flight) by Gary G
I drive to work just south of BWI/Marshall airport every morning. I looked up and literally thought there was going to be a mid-air collision! Then, I thought - "Oh crap! There's a plane with gear problem!" What I saw was a plane that was along the lines of an MD-80, and off the right wing was a...
