1 Attachment(s) Air Canada L-1011 by Canuck[_3_]
Another great aircraft that was fantastic to fly on. Too bad most of them aren't in service any longer. Air Canada retired the type long ago. Nick

Rusty's Review of 2006 - RR-001.jpg (0/1) by RustY©
Sixteen days out this last year produced these 229 photos that I posted on here. That was about half the days devoted to the 'sport' in 2005 and a third of my target of days for 2007. With some long trips abroad planned this summer it will be hard to reach my target but it all starts next...

3 Attachment(s) Curious question to the group. by shiver
So.... I'm curious as to how the JATO rockets were developed and where they were first used. Looking at those famous pix of a HERC using them for takeoff assistance made me kinda curious. Now it is a bit of a trick question.... so have at it.
