F-35, not F-22, to Protect U.S. Airspace by
David E. Powell
Well if more F-35s get built than F-22s, and or the budget for them is

units will get F-35s, though F-16s and F-15s will likely be in service
stateside for many years to come.
If you just want speed for the ANG, one can always...

Yes, I made this. A small slide show but, oh well.
Something other than the sad news.
On a more serious note from the Olympics, this was nice to see as
well:

MSNBC: Lost color photos of the Korean War. by
David E. Powell
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25851741/displaymode/1107/s/2
A series of very sharp color photos a photographer then recently found
after 50+ years. Featuring a very nice view of a battleship in the Sea
of Japan against the backdrop a frosty coast, and a bent-up Corsair
that may have been Ted...

History Channel Dogfights - Kamikazes (Season 2 Premiere) by
David E. Powell
Really well done.... worth checking out. From the look at the battle
of the USS Laffey (And US air cover of the day, tactics, the ship
herself, etc.) to the stuff on the Okha program to the look at a
German ramming squadron in the last days of the war in Europe, really
well done stuff.

right near the Iranian border. The General they have on CNN is right.
The Iraq gov't has made exuses for this guy and not gone after him. I
fthey're not...
