Amir - Iranian F-4 pilot
In their frustration for a successful offensive against Iran on the
northern front between 12th and 22nd March of 1981, Iraq fired two

Iraqi Generals Meet Iranian Tomcats
During the war with Iran, for Iraqi generals the life depended on two
factors, both of which had to do with their superiors: a) not taking
too much action and make themselves too dangerous for the dictator in
Baghdad as to become his target, and b) not taking...

A New Threat to The USA, Iranian F-14 Tomcats? Answer it ...
Since the US Navy has phased out its fleet of F-14's and AIM-54's and
while, neither the USAF has no aircraft for air engagement for
distances more than 30 miles nor the US Navy, Iran - at the present
time - has more numbers of powerful...

BRAC Logic....NAS Brunswick by
Andrew C. Toppan
I'm trying to figure out the BRAC logic in the realignment of NAS
Brunswick, Maine. The plan is to relocate all the planes to NAS
Jacksonville but keep Brunswick open as a Naval Air Facility.
I can understand the rationale for moving to Jacksonville -
consolidating the P-3/P-8 fleets to a single...

John Kilbracken, wartime Swordfish pilot and author of "Bring back my

Note the Press Association's slight over-estimate of the range
of roles the Swordfish could fill: I'm pretty sure it was never
operated as...

Dr Hans Kammler by

any German nuclear...

F4U-5 ferry range by
[email protected]
I am writing a story involving the F4U-5 Corsair. The various websites
list the combat range but none shows a ferry range with full fuel and
drop tanks. Does anyone know the max ferry range with attached gas
tanks?
Thanks,
Sac Writer

Tired of having your photos rejected by those picky web sites? You
know who they are.
We have created a web site that has a "NO AVIATION PHOTO REJECTED"
policy.
As long as you keep it under 1200x1000 and it's aviation related. It's
approved.
