wright1902glider
In my last post, I mentioned that I was curently off the airshow circut
for a number of reasons. Greatest of which is the issue with the
homebuilt trailer that formerly hauled my plane and equipment. Well,
for those of you that havn't heard this before, here's the whole story.
The trailer was...

Thin 3/8" wrench by
RST Engineering
That's WRENCH, not wench you dirty minded garlic guzzling cigar chomping old
pharts.
I've got a very thin (0.050") 3/8" wrench that has been in my toolbox since
Eisenhower. Over the years, it has rounded its jaws off to the point where
it is fairly useless. The maker of the wrench, one H.H....

Attn Spam Can drivers: Need MS FlightSim reality check... by
wright1902glider
If anyone out there will admit to driving a C-172, I have a question.
In MS FlightSim 2003, Rod the VR flight instructor tells me that I
should be controlling my altitude with the throtle, and my airspeed
with the elevator? Does that make sense?
In Microsoftland, I've got to constantly play with...

OK the rumors about UVSP have me paranoid now. I know some folks have had
nightmarish problems with this product but I am hopeing that there are some
success stories out there as well as it is still on the market. I have been

Another Deal at Home Depot by
Kyle Boatright
Home Depot is refreshing its tool displays and one of the things they are
eliminating is assembled versions of their "big boy" tools like tablesaws,
big bandsaws, drill presses, etc. In the future, you'll be able to look at
a picture of the assembled tool, and if you want to buy the tool, your...

Injector carbs and inductions system icing by
flybynightkarmarepair
SOME promoters of injector carbs (POSA, Lake, Revmaster, AeroCarb and
Ellison fall into this category) claim that carb heat is un-necessary.
I have always felt, based on my analysis of the physics involved, that
this is an un-necessarily risky strategy. Ellison agrees; they suggest
carb heat with...

Toe in or toe out?? For Taildraggers by
DonMorrisey
Howdy.
I'm at the point in my project where I'm lining up the landing gear.
Based on what I've found from various sources there seems to be many
schools of thought asto whether the main gear on a taildragger should
toe in or out and how much????
Thought I'd throw it out here to see what the brain...

I've had it with Chinese tools! by

I've had it with the El Cheapo Corp. tools I've been buying from vendors at
OSH and other places. When I really need them to deliver, they break or fail
