Using biological weapons to disable my arms when I was only six years old. by [email protected]
This is not the group to advertise religious hatred. Their is only one God, unfortunately different cultures have interpreted Gods words in different ways. Take your hatred elsewhere, as surely no religion encourages it. There is good and bad in all cultures. Why don't we look for the good.

Meigs by Nolaminar
This could be in error, but was Meigs 100% "private"? It is my understanding that it is/was a "private" airport and has never taken Federal funding and thus the beloved Mayor and his crew were legal (though not so smart or clever) in destrorying the airport? Just asking. GA

Sport Aviation, Chapter 92, Orange County, CA by Nolaminar
Latest Sport Aviation article on Pg 91 discusses the restoration of a 1903 Wright Flyer replica. The article tells of "applied the coating/UV barrier......" Previous reference would indicate it is Poly Fiber. Any idea as to the clear UV barrier? What is this product? Thanks Bob Gaines Marietta, GA

Adhesive by [email protected]
After years of looking, I recently obtained a pair of the old Piper Cherokee logos from the center of the old style bow tie yokes. They are in fine condition and really jazz up the cockpit I am unsure of what to use to mount them in the semicircular recess in the yoke. I would not want to use an...

Aeronautical Term by Nyal Williams
As I recall from a model airplane kit I built back in the late 1940s, the British observation plane, Westland Lysander, was equipped with small, short, secondary flying surfaces (hardly wings) attached to the landing gear just at about the top of the wheelpants. As I understood it at the time,...

ki-61 two tails? by old hoodoo
I have read a reference that kermit weeks' ki-61 has two tail units. I understand that there is an allegation that a relatively intact Ki-61 in PNG had its tail unit scavenged (illegally) and that the extra tail unit that is with the Week's 61 belongs to that aircraft. Considering the rarity of...

The is the only B-239 in the world is reputedly at Dublin airport (this excludes the HUMU, a 239 fuselage mated to wooden wings that is on display in Finland). It may be under wraps however. It was recovered remarkedly intact by a for-profit recovery group under questionable circumstances and...

My plane Featured in "Aeroplane" by Orval Fairbairn
Just before Sun N Fun, I met up with Geoffrey P. Jones, a UK aircraft photographer/writer, for some air-to-air shots of my 1946 Johnson Rocket 185. I put him in the back seat of a friend's Yak 52 for the shots, which turned out pretty well. His work is on Page 60 of the British magazine Aeroplane.

Johnson Rocket Projects by Orval Fairbairn
A friend has decided to sell his two Johnson Rocket 185 project aircraft. One has been stripped down and the fuselage primed with epoxy and painted. That plane needs a rebuilding of the cockpit area, as the previous owner butchered that area in an attempt to make a homebuilt. The other plane is...
