Water detector by Paul kgyy
I saw an Ad in TAP this week for a Comanche with a "water in fuel" detector. Anybody know anything about this - where it resides, how it works, who sells it? It seems to me it could be a valuable tool, but a lot would depend on where the sensor is located.

oil level effects oil pressure by Robert M. Gary
I've noticed that if I run my engine lower on oil than usual (but still well above the min) my pressure runs lower. I"m trying to understand how oil level effects oil pressure. If there is enough oil to hit the sump, wouldn't the pressure be uneffected? -Robert IO-360-A3B6 engine.

Big Bertha thing rocket by El Maximo
Big Bertha is a rocket designed and sold by Estes. I had one when I was a kid. The thing was damn near indestructible. Stop spewing your drivel and belittling the name of a fine flying machine.

BPS Program on Daily winning out over pilots? by Roger
I may have missed something as I caught only a little of the PBS program due to the band opening and catching a bit from a station I don't normally get. It looked like they were making Daily out to be the environmentally friendly hero winning out over the pilots and turning the airport into the...

When I was in the car painting business we used to use baby diapers for a non lint, non scratching way of wiping down cars before and after painting. They were awesome, reusable, soft rags... I was thinking that they would be perfect for the airplanes plexiglass cleaning and a host of other uses......

A+ for Mooney (M-18) Mite website by Montblack
I've seen quite a few airplane web pages over the years. I have to say, this Mooney (M-18) Mite site is one of the better ones I've seen. This site does many, many, many things right, IMHO. One very, very minor nit is ...the (very good) Photos/History page is one level down, in the Articles link....

One of my students' father cleaned out his hangar a few weeks ago and came across his collection of Kitplanes magazines from the early to mid 90s. I haven't checked, but the student said that it was from the very first issue through sometime in 1995. There are 50 of them, all in relatively...
