Accident/Incident Checklist by
RN
Our club is reviewing emergency procedures.
Does anyone have a good checklist we might be able to use.
We would like to create a list of emergency numbers and contacts for
use by whoever is on the airport at the time.

Pulse Oximetry with new Apple Watch 6 by
Dee[_2_]
Today Apple announced their new $400 Series 6 Apple Watch will have the ability to monitor blood O2 saturation levels (in addition to other medical features). Valuable medical info not only for pilots but for an early indication of pulmonary changes such as seen with COVID-19 infection.
Not sure...

IGC Speed scoring script for SeeYou? by
lrbj
Have any of you ever seen a script for SeeYou being able to reproduce the OLC Speed calculation? I.e. the fastest 2.5 hrs of a flight, starting and ending at the same height?
We are currently testing OLC Speed as a new competition form in Norway, and we would like to use SeeYou scoring if...

SNAV-LNAV low memory-battery voltage message? by
Stewart Kissel
I had my SNAV send the low memory-battery message and
shut down and restart while flying. I dutifully replaced
the battery and still get the same message...I checked
the replacement and it is 3.4 volts on the amp-meter.
The manual says the message is only generated if power
less then 2.2 volts. ...

spinning K13s non-aerobatic by
Mark Fisher
What is the view (especially of instructors and inspectors)
on spinning K13s within the non-aerobatic range of
the placard?
seems to be a matter of some disagreement. It depends
I suppose on whether spinning is considered aerobatic.
any views?
thanks

Amarillo by mornin'? by
Jack
It appears that I may be transferred to Amarillo from Houston about
September or October. I'm wondering about the soaring group there. I
know someone in the area and he said the soaring club had ceased to
exist. He also said the group was trying to get a winch going in order
to reform the club....
