Debonair performance? by Brinks
I've been out looking at the early Debonairs with the IO-470-J or -K in them. The books I've looked at and the info in TAP say they cruise at 148 knots (I'm assuming at 75% power), and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had any "real" numbers on cruise speeds. Thanks! Chris

Simple Sledgehammer Fix by Bret Ludwig
Simple fix for all GA problems: Extend Part 103 to 1250 lbs. Think about it. Oh yes, there would be problems. But keep the government's ass off people long enough for enough screwballs, fundie redneck morons, and maybe some protected minorities (Sprewells for Cleveland wheel assemblies may help)...

Insurance: did you know? by Michael Horowitz
Earlier I posted about the 'incident' I had with my airplane, and we were well within the limits of insurance until the engine's 'dial-out' was checked and found to be outside of limits; at that point we anticipate the ins. co. will say it's totaled. WEll, talking to the guy that will break it...

hobbs time by Paul Folbrecht
My C152 has about 7500 TT logged but the hobbs shows about 3900. Does this make any sense? Perhaps the hourmeter was replaced?

Just thought I'd put out a little FYI for everyone in the NG's about the Aviation Expo coming to my home airport in June. http://www.canadianaviationexpo.com/ I'm in no way associated with the expo, and have nothing to gain by posting it here, except perhaps the opportunity to meet a few...

To make a long story mercifully short, RST is looking for a person to do the accounting function.
