GOAT ASW20
Upon spin entry with a flapped glider, you should always put the flaps to full negative. That reduces the appearent angle of attack and speeds up the recovery.

First glider Nimbus 2 ?

First glider Nimbus 2 ?
When the water is dumped, the N2 is a very light ship (it's all about kg/m2, not about span or total mass) and will outclimb any 15 m ship.
Having said this, you need to be fairly motivated in order...

I had that one over Norther Germany (whis is as flat as flat can be). Cloud streets with base at 1200 m and tops at 1800 m. Wave lift started just under the base in front (upwind) of the cloud, and I...

40 kts corresponds to 20.58 m/s. (20.58 m/s) ^2/3 doesn't make any sense unit-wise, and the numerical result would be 7.36.
My Ventus cM touches down at 40 kts and has a hydraulic disc brake which...

You've got your units pretty much messed up, and when you correct for that, your calculation doesn't make any sense.

Kenn,
still puzzled about that. If you start deflecting the rudder to the right, the relativ wind for the fin is coming from the right, and the fin produces lift to the left.
If you end up this...

Grob Twin Astir getting "stuck" in a slip
Nice explanation, but it doesn't work.
First of all, other ships with centrally hinged rudder also lock the rudder in a full slip (Janus comes to my mind).
Secondly, if you apply and hold full right...

Most modern trailers are exempt from the 80 km/h limitation and are allowed to go 100 km/h. Still not the speed some 18-wheelers do here but a big improvement for the German Autobahn.
