Default SR-71 model in the Smithsonian Air & Space museum (0/1)

I searched through the available pictures from my provider in this newsgroup
before posting these. This is a model built by a master model builder,
commissioned by the A&S museum, and it was only supposed to be displayed for a
short period of time in the mid 80s. It's still there. The builder, whose name
is visible in some of the shots, is my father in law. He is a retired USAF MSgt
and still builds award winning models in his West Virginia hideaway.

This is not an assembled kit. It was carved from a block of modeling foam using
scale drawings obtained from a model building company.
