I understand the tip wheels are different among the various 1-26 models.

I made my own out of square "U" channel and large Rollerblade wheel riveted to the tip out where the last aluminum panel meets the end of the wing. My A&P IA had no issues with it Mine is standard AW but originally homebuilt ser number 006. I'd post a pic but not sure how to do that with the new groups.
