Default Soviet Ekranoplan redux, FWIW

[Crossposted r.a.m.n and s.m.n, a) since the Ekranoplan has been
asked about in both groups, and b) since half the show was
devoted to the Roosian's "Quebec" submarines]

During lunch time this afternoon, The History Channel reran one
of their "History Undercover" series shows "Soviet Top Secret
Weapons". Half the show was on the '50s era "Quebec" submarines,
but the other half had good coverage, including film footage of
the Roosian tests, of the development history of the Ekranoplan.

As with everything on TV nowadays, a VHS tape of the show is
available [50 minutes on tape - presumably no commercials ;-].

or the shorter tiny.url version: http://tinyurl.com/2cet5

[Surprisingly, priced at $24.95 instead of what I though was the
standard, written in concrete, cable-TV price of $19.95 for a
one-hour show. :-(]

I thought I'd get this on record, and in Google Groups, for the
next time someone asks about the Ekranoplan / ground effect
aircraft. Feel free to ignore, unless you have something about
The History Channel or the A&E cable empire you want to get off
of your chest. ;-
