Surgical application of the "blocked senders" function (or equivalent) in
your newsreader program will make things more palatable in the short run.
After a while the cross-posting idiots will tire of things and move on,
until the next eruption on the world scene.

Unfortunately via AOL, it's the multiple cross-posted responses which are not
really managable to block -- w/o blocking each & every poster of that thread.
The easy part is blocking the initial poster(s), but not the follow-ups if RAMN
is included.

I just delete (as in clicking the "Mark Read" button) w/o reading any of the
threads which are in question. That takes very little time -- especially given
the low volume of this NG.
