At one time John Kerry agreed with you. It seems he's changed his mind.
Indeed.
The only ad from this group that I have paid attention to is the one where
they have a film clip of Kerry, circa the early '70s, saying that he
returned his medals. He did not.
Was his assertion a lie?
Was it his First Great Flip-Flop?
Was he suffering from massive cerbral flatulence?
To the best of my knowledge he has never addressed this issue. So his (and
his supporters) attempts to claim some sort of moral high ground on the
issues of truth and veracity and honorable service are highly suspect.
Like I say, you must compare the two candidates today, not yesterday. But
are we not all the result of our yesterdays? In Kerry I see a constant
series of commitments to the very liberal wing of the Democratic Party.
They have many values and views I do not share. Since he is, and always has
been, part of this extremely leftist group I cannot support his bid.
I remain a V2R.
