Check model aircraft jet emgines. A number are made in UK. Also I
believe some are kit built.

You didn't say the size of engine you are building but some of these
model engines go up to 50 lbs thrust and may be derated to get down to
that thrust level???.

If you contact the companies who manufacture these jet engines they
may be able to help you find a source of metal for your project if
they don't have?
