Ditto Also have a DRE-6k and this is the same for me -You can hear a click
when you hit the on button and it all goes quiet.
Very pleased with mine, would be interested in why your not pleased with
yours

IIRC). The OFF button requires you hold it down for 5 sec or so. If it
turns off immediately when you let go of the ON button, sounds rather
broken.
