hi sue , I know them quite well, I built two of them
it is a "sky jeep" , dont expect it to look like a mooney, but is extremely
fast to build, the whole plane is done within one month with two guys
working 10h a day, and flies reasonably well: kind of plane you need to
"pilot " (you need your feet busy) but cruising is 120km/h with rotax 582 or
140km/h with rotax 912, in Europe it is used a lot in training like cessna
152, will stand easily 2000h on airframe without any worry.
we normally fly them with Rotax 582 or 912, if you managed to hear about
people having some experience with Jabiru engine let me know
, it might be th engine for my third sky
ranger...

Anyone have comments or experiences with this French-kit aircraft?

Inexpensive and claimed build-time is short. No welding.
I'm especially interested because I can't get an Airman's Certificate
(take medication) so hope "Sport Pilot" certication will be available.
