The KLN 35A has something that is in that hole only about 1.5 to 2" in
there, my small allen wrenches stop at that point - am wondering if maybe
this takes a metric allen wrench - I just can't see in this tiny hole to see
what is in there.

I need to remove my KLN 35A but I can't figure out how - small hole in
the
front - I assumed it was for an allen wrench - none of mine fit it - too
small for a tiny screwdriver - what's the secret to getting this thing
out ?
Bendix-King units do use an allen head. It's fairly tiny, and the screw is
pretty far
back. The driver my avionics tech uses is about 9" long.
