Really? Ever try to rent a Maule MX-7?

But that is part of the cost of rental. If I have to pay for 21 hours rental for a
week trip, and I fly my own aircraft 4 hours for the same trip, that's "operating my
aircraft cheaper than I can rent the same plane."
