Oh, taxes on real estate where I am are a small fraction of what I paid in
Jersey (W. Orange).
The thing that continues to be an eye-opener for me is that my monthly
housing 'nut' is the same now as it was for my first house in Jersey.
Interest rates play a big part but so do taxes. 2X the house with hangar.
But NYC is a looonnnng flight. It balances I guess.
