I appreciate the problem but the Skyforce so near to the compass would
no doubt require a compas swing. Additionally the wiring is likely to
induce changes in the magnetic field as the GPS draws more or less
current. I suspect the compass variations would not be acceptable!

We had to use a VOR/ILS indicator with DME built in as the panel space
would not accommodate the DME when we fitted dual NAV/COM.
