Has anyone made it a point to fly to the airport that shares its
identifier with your initials? I was thinking it would be neat to find
LAS and do a XC there, but then I realized I have already been there :

I haven't found my initials airport, nor DH's much less flown there.

However, I12 (Sidney, OH) is close to ROD VOR. Oh, yeah, we
had to stop there.

Turns out it's a nice, quiet airport, usually good fuel
prices, a courtesy car to drive into town for a meal and
an active pilot's assoc. which held cookouts at the airport.
We used to like it as a fuel stop when we were flying s. of
the lake on the way to Niagara Falls (or back)
