It's a short trip. Realistically, you will either be cleared direct JFK VOR
then FRG to Islip at an altitude of between 3000 to 6000 feet or you can go
south of the Verrazano Bridge along the south shore of Brooklyn, Queens, and
along Atlantic Beach and Long Beach. If you look at the Sectional Chart, you
will need to stay 500' and below in the JFK area which makes it interesting.
Last time I went that route, JFK Tower called the Concorde on departure as
my traffic. *sigh* Little did I realize that it would be the last time...
Hope this helps.

Hello All,
Not sure if this is the proper forum to ask this question, but I will
give it a shot. I have FS2002 and love to fly it as realistically as
possible. I was wondering if any of you can give me a real world route
for flying VFR from Caldwell airport in New Jersey to Islip airport on
long Island.
The type of aircraft I use is a piper Warrior.
Any advice would greatly be appreciated
John
