I was recently flying with a buddy of mine in East TX in his C140. I made a
comment on all of the deer blinds below us, and he said, only half joking
"its about that time of year when you want to stay above about 2,000AGL". He
said he landed once and had a bullet hole in his vertical stabilizer.
