Hi Folks,

I recently had a vision - in fact, it was the week of the Wright Brothers
100th anniversary - for what it's worth... single occupant VTOLs...

Look at the quicktime video and tell me if my idea has merit.

http://www.worlddatabase.com/flyz.mov

It was a strange vision - and I think it will fly.

FYI - The pilot stands in the vehicle...

I'm not an engineer or a pilot, and would like to hear the thoughts of
others smarter than me.

Will it fly?

I need a job anyway, so if someone can hire me to build these things, I'm
ready to get to work. ;-)

Well, making the little animation was the easy part.

What produces the lift?

How much lift will it produce?

How much horsepower is predicted to be required?

How much will it weigh?

Why do you believe the answers to the above questions are correct?

How will it be controlled?

What are the failure modes, and what are the effects of those failures?

Let us know when you have a flying prototype and I'll get interested.

Good luck.
