One good place to check out formulas and such is google.

Example: type in google search bar:

1 mph in knots

it will come back with 1 mph = 0.868976242 knots

You can type any number in there. Googles built in calculator can come
in handy. You cooks out there?? You can type in things like 5 cups in
tablespoons.

Almost anything you can think of to convert google calculator will do
it. (anyone know muchb about rods? 1 mile is equal to 320 rods) You can
even do such things as 5+5+5+6+10/4-3 etc etc and it will figure it out
for you.

Take Care
Nathan

Whats the conversion off hand to convert?
Our airplanes have MPH on the AS gauge, and our checklists have kts
(ie Best Glide, 65kts)
