Most of the new vids.. My player says they are not valid MPG4
files... (?) ...and cannot play them...

Download the latest Windows Media Player (there's a link on the video page
itself) and make it your default video player.

Everything runs properly from that point on.

I had the same issue while using WMP 9 where they came up as an unknown
format and would not play until changing the extension.



Whatever you do, do NOT make "Realplayer" your default. That stupid
program
intertwines itself everywhere.
