Why not buy juan's? It's been "almost complete" for years. He's also been
trying to sell it for years. I bet you can get a fabulous deal.

Hey Dan. Isn't his jet? I guess the difference is I can find a complete B kit
for $1500 or so. There is a template to foam and cover the upper wing surface
to change the airfoil and tame the stall that only adds about seven pounds.

They still look pretty cool and I have seen Hirth powered BD-5Bs with about 60
hp that cruise 180 and top out at 200+. They are pretty light and I wonder if
you take a beating on cross country.
