I just finished IFR: A Structured Approach. I am going to start
reading it again. It was the best aviation book I've read so far.

This book is straight forward, no fluff, way it is reading.
Twenty years ago, when I got my PPC, I learned about Vn/Vg diagrams, but
I never learned the formulas and relationships behind them. Eckalbar's
straight forward presentation makes everything clear.
My only problem now is making time to create spreadsheets to derive all
the numbers for the different airplanes I fly.
Next on my list will be his other books, "FLYING HIGH PERFOMANCE SINGLES
AND TWINS" and "IFR: A STRUCTURED APPROACH"
