Ah, therein lies the discrepancy. Purchasing a house (boat, plane, RV, ...) "for
cash" means one does not take out a loan to make the purchase. In this
discussion about getting large amounts of cash out of the bank, we mean literally
*cash* (i.e. slips of cotton-based paper with etchings of dead Presidents on
them).
