If it goes to a referendum, can't the battle for the public's vote continue?
Of course it's better not to let it get that far, but a referendum still has a
shot at siding with the current airport commission.
Look what happened when Albert Whitted Field's fate (St Pete, FL) went to a
referendum. The City Council and Mayor got trounced.
It's all about a good solid PR effort.
