There are days when living on the Chicago Lakefront is worth every penny
of
the ridiculous rent I pay to live here.

Too bad the Blues (and all the other airshow acts) wouldn't boycott
Chicago's big airshow.

If these groups had stood behind Meigs last year by refusing to perform, the
negative publicity and outcry from the public could have driven King Daley
to either re-open Meigs -- or to resign.

Now, alas, it's far too late.
