It's great. Beautifully produced, obviously a labor of love. I look
forward to seeing the completed project, and hope it gets lots of exposure.

Of course my own home airport's story has a history even richer and more
interesting than this one. I'm sure one could do a very nice little
featurette on most GA fields.

I only have one minor criticism of the film: with only one exception,
everyone shown (at least in the trailer) is what most of the movie-going
public would probably think of as an old geezer. Of course, that accurately
refelects the pilot demographic (you and me), and while that's not the
movie's fault (it is after all depicting history), in order to "connect"
better with the general public it might not be a bad idea to show some
people in the film without so much gray hair. Media pieces like this can
help bring more folks into GA by showing how exciting it is (something
that's not accomplished very often) but trying to hook young folks by
showing a bunch of (us) old farts isn't going to be as effective as showing
some younger, more, um, attractive types. Maybe AOPA should be working on
J-Lo and Beyonce to see if they might be interested in taking flying lessons
(hey, I heard that Angelina Jolie wanted to get her ticket, maybe it's not
such a crazy idea!).

Anyway, that's minor nitpicking. It's a very nice film, and my hat's off to
the folks who are producing it. As the original poster said, we need more
stuff like this (a LOT more).
