Then we had 18 of us (the Pup 100s pulled out, not enough power)

do a
formation flypast.

Lined up on the runway.

Paul, I would love to have seen that. I started my flight training in
a pup 100 here in Ireland, the Wexford Aero Club (now defunct) had
one for many years, it's now in the hands of one of the former
members. He did a full rebuild about 6 or 7 years ago, gave himself a
fright and she's been laid up since; you can imagine the state of the
engine after all that time.

Aw. A Pup is too good to let one just sit there.

She's had a full paint job, new radio and some instruments, a
transponder, new prop and rebuilt engine with only 160 or so hours.

Mmm.

I'm hoping that I and my partner in the Rallye will be able to get
our hands on her if we can get her registered as a classic, we would
be able to afford to run it then; so wish us luck.

Good luck!

Paul
