In their defense I'd really consider the good possibility that the shippers
did some major damage to them. Have you tried seeking recourse from them?
I've seen the way some of them handle things and am surprised you can get
anything in usable condition ;-)

week, I took it over and we unpacked it but never unsealed the plastic
overwrap. It was later determined that this was the wrong product, and I
left him to return it. He finally mailed it back (after we had sealed
both strakes and the header tank) still in plastic wrap, boxed and
surrounded with peanuts.. Well, Spruce called and said the cans were
"too beat up and damaged to return to stock" and that they were not
accepting em back. Lesson learned? Take pictures and be prepared to
prove your side when returning something that is otherwise unopened. I
will still use spruce, but I will try to make sure we get the right
product in the first place so we dont have to even CONSIDER returning em.
