Thanks Jay. You're right about ocean city being closer. My friend
would prefer to drive there than GED. He's not a pilot but he is aware
of a local strip closer to his house. I think he's referring to west.

FYI, I'm based at Ocean City, and Ocean City is probably about the same
distance from Bethany as GED, but it's a straight shot up Coastal
Highway. I don't know any of the owners of these private strips, and, to
tell you the truth, I've never heard anyone at the airport talk about
them. I have friends in Roxanna (where West is located), but I've never
noticed the strip. Anyway, I just used "Kyler's nearby airport locator"
at: http://aviationtoolbox.org/old/nearby_airports.cgi to lookup these
fields, and you can get info about them at Airnav...
