Thanx.. I'll check it out... how did you call them?? are they on the airport
frequency?
last time I was at Echo bay there was nothing but a runway.. and the cell
phone did not work

For the uninitiated.. Echo Bay, (and Temple Bar) runway slopes and have
multiple landing illusions..
like landing up hill into a setting sun with strobing effect from the
propeller

Echo bay. We went up there last March, and the resort sent a complimentary
shuttle bus out to the
airport to pick us up. We had the "$100 breakfast", walked down the long
ramp to the marina to look
around, and then returned to the Phoenix area via the Grand Canyon. It was
a nice outing.
