see that you haven't recognized the mentally debilitating effects of
hypoxia.
Besides, we all know it takes a special kind of ornery low class
bozo to fly an aircraft whose wings fold -- but only while flying.
My wings have FLEXED, but never folded thank God! The AS-W20 wings
would flex upward almost five feet at the tips in gusts and tight
turns. The racing sailplanes had wings that were dis-assemblable in 15
minutes (10 with an approaching squall line) but were not the
fold-back style that some powerplanes and sailplanes have.
The Monnett Moni originally featured folding wings...in flight...a
problem that was solved when you put in the rivets instead of just the
original glue. The one I am sellign fortunately has the rivets and as
such will be safe to fly.
As for the hypoxia...well, I'll have to plead guilty to that and throw
myself on the (highly unlikely) mercy of RAH!
