I got a cheap radio shack airplane scanner. It works great when I sit in
the airport parking lot but 5 km out it does nothing. I live about 15 km


from a small airport and 40 from Pearson Internation Airport. Is there a

which scanner do you have ?? I have a Pro-26 and it works fine. I do
have a mag mount antenna I use and I do monitor Pearson But only when
the plane is in the air. go here for some freq's
