And if none of those work, there's always Islip (ISP) out on Long Island.
It's a bit more of a trip to get to than HPN but still in the range for a
1-day journey. I believe the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) which departs Penn
station in NYC has a stop that isn't too far away and you could get a cab to
the field. Or you could just rent a car for the day.

I'll put in my two cents for Panorama. I flew down there from Boston in my
172 and they took good care of us with nothing more than 20 gallons of
100LL. All the other places at HPN won't pay you the time of day unless
you're burning kerosene. Funniest thing though, I saw they put Denver boots
on all the jets- they said it's to make sure they pay for their fuel! As Liz
Smith used to say, "Only in New York, kids, only in New York..."

Station, connecting at the Hoboken, NJ, station and be there in about

Or, for $2.60 or so per person, you could take the NJ Transit #161

out of Port Authority Bus Station and be at Teterboro in about 30

In either case, you would have to contact the FBO about 15 minutes

to have them meet you at the bus or train stop. Million Air provided

this service for free when I traveled there over the summer, but I

I would be very surprised if none of the flight schools there offered

this scenic trip, but I have never been there to confirm. To get to
this airport, you would need to take a train north out of Penn
Station,
but the trip is probably an hour one way to the train stop, then a 10

minute cab ride to the airport.

The scenic flight is incredible (I have done it in my own aircraft
four
times now) and you are wise to attempt this while you are in NYC.
