I'm not convinced he actually meant to touch down. I think he seriously
****ed up and got REALLY lucky. No reason would be acceptable for that

of flying at a public display.


I've recently taken a job at a local company that builds flight
training devices (sims for lack of a more accurate term) and we were
watching this video this morning. We all came to the same conclusion
and figured the pilot had the collective pulled to his armpit prior to
"touchdown". You can see the ship bounce and the mains unload.


There was absolutely no doubt in my mind he screwed it up from the very
first viewing. If it WAS part of the show, the organisers would've organised
their last show and they know that.

check the MR to tail clearance on the slow motion. Lucky guys and gals
there.
